One read-only link for the whole trip. Clean enough that your group actually reads it; complete enough to leave with someone at home as the trip record.

Turning it on

Trips are private by default. Flip the trip's visibility to Link and Divide gives you a URL like divide.app/t/sierra-high-route. Anyone with the link can view; nobody needs an account. Flip it back to private and the link stops working immediately.

What the group sees

The route map, every cairn with its details, the day-by-day sequence, divisions with both branches, permit status, and the weather outlook. Read-only — no one can edit, and nothing about your account is visible. It updates live: change the plan and every open link shows the change on next load, which is the point. The group always has the current plan, never the Tuesday PDF.

Who to send it to

The group, obviously. But also the person staying home: a share link that shows where you'll be each night, with coordinates, is a better trip plan to leave behind than any text message. Bespoke clients get their finished itinerary delivered exactly this way — same link, same view.
